Product Description

FRP braided winding pultruded pipe is a high-performance composite material pipe. It uses a glass fiber reinforced resin matrix. It has both high strength (tensile strength ≥ 300MPa) and light weight (weight is only 1/4 of steel pipe). It also has excellent corrosion resistance, can withstand acid, alkali, salt spray and organic solvents, and has a service life of more than 30 years. Its inner wall is smooth (roughness coefficient 0.0084), hydraulic performance is excellent, and the transportation efficiency is 20% higher than that of metal pipes. The product supports customized design, with a diameter range of 50mm to 3000mm, a pressure level of 0.6-6.4MPa, a standard length of 6m/12m, and an adaptable temperature of -40℃ to 120℃, in line with GB/T 21238 and ASTM D2996 standards.

The pipe is widely used in petrochemical (oil pipelines, corrosive media transportation), municipal engineering (water supply and drainage, sewage treatment), power system (cable protection sleeve) and offshore platform (seawater desalination system) and other fields. Its core technology combines braiding and pultrusion technology: by cross-weaving the glass fiber reinforcement layer and impregnating it with epoxy resin, the hoop strength is improved; high-temperature pultrusion ensures uniform wall thickness (±0.5mm tolerance), and an impermeable lining layer can be added; UV protection or fire retardant coating (oxygen index ≥ 28) can be selected in the post-processing stage.

Production process

1. Raw material preparation
Choose auxiliary materials such as resin (such as unsaturated polyester resin), glass fiber yarn, and curing agent.
2. Weaving reinforcement layer
Using a weaving machine to weave glass fiber yarn into a mesh structure, forming a reinforcement layer for the pipe.
3. Wrapping forming
Spiral wrap glass fiber yarn impregnated with resin on the core mold, ensuring uniformity through tension control.
4. Extrusion process
Send the semi-finished product after winding into the extrusion mold, heat and solidify it to form, and continuously pull and shape the pipe.
5. Curing treatment
High temperature curing in a curing oven to fully crosslink the resin and improve its mechanical properties.
6. Cutting and Inspection
Cut the pipes according to the requirements and conduct quality inspections such as appearance, size, and pressure.
